What exactly does Flipper read?
Only the sources you choose to connect. Slack, Gmail, Notion, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Jira and Trello are read through scoped connectors, so your team can keep working where it already does.
Can everyone see everything Flipper knows?
No. Flipper resolves every request against the person, workspace role and departmental groups before retrieval. Agents receive the same filtered view shown in the Memory Browser.
What is the difference between individual AI and team AI?
Individual AI remembers one person’s prompts and files. Flipper gives every agent the company’s shared memory while still returning only the facts that person is permitted to see.
How is Flipper different from RAG or enterprise search?
Enterprise search finds files. Basic RAG retrieves document chunks. Flipper distills work into typed facts and relationships, supersedes outdated decisions, keeps provenance and serves task-specific context through MCP.
Which AI agents can use Flipper?
Any agent that supports MCP. Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and Codex can connect to the same brain; remote agents use OAuth, while local clients connect through the MCP endpoint.
What happens when a decision changes?
The new fact supersedes the old one instead of deleting history. Agents receive the current answer while sources, confidence and counter-evidence remain inspectable.
Can Flipper act without a person approving it?
No. Flipper can prepare a source-cited draft, but governed playbooks require human approval. Execution stays with the connected agent under its own credentials.
Can we self-host, or bring our own model key?
Both solve different control needs. BYOK keeps Flipper hosted and runs synthesis, compression and extraction on your Anthropic or Gemini key; hosted embeddings remain managed by Flipper. Self-hosting moves the complete application and data plane into your infrastructure.
What happens to our data if we leave?
An owner can export the workspace. Deletion immediately pauses connectors and revokes agent access, remains reversible for 30 days, then purges the workspace data.
