Retention, forget & purge

Forgetting is a two-stage act: hidden immediately, gone permanently after thirty days.

Forget a fact

forget_fact — or the UI equivalent — hides it everywhere at once: retrieval, agents, search. It is retained in the soft-deleted state for thirty days so an accidental forget is recoverable, then purged by the nightly job.

Superseded is not deleted

A superseded fact stays readable in history on purpose. If you need it gone rather than replaced, forget it explicitly.
