Uploads exist for the things that live outside a connected tool: a PDF policy, a spreadsheet of accounts, a playbook someone wrote in Word.
What is supported
PDF, .docx, .xlsx, .pptx, Markdown and plain text. Text is extracted from the OOXML package directly, so formatting-heavy files still yield clean episodes.
How it is treated
An upload becomes an episode like any other, attributed to you, with the filename as provenance. Uploaded playbooks skip detection and go straight to the approval queue.
